Reimbursement Guidance

How Out-of-Network Superbills Work

If we are not in-network with your specific insurance plan, you can still receive substantial reimbursement through out-of-network benefits.

1

Receive Your Itemized Superbill

After each visit, our clinic automatically generates an itemized medical Superbill complete with your diagnostic codes (ICD-10), procedural billing codes (CPT), provider NPI, and clinical taxonomy.

2

Submit to Your Insurance Carrier

Submit the Superbill directly to your health insurance company through their member portal, mobile claims app, or mail. Most PPO plans reimburse 50%–80% of out-of-network mental health costs.

3

Direct Reimbursement Check

Your insurer processes the claim according to your out-of-network deductible and sends a direct reimbursement payment or applies the balance toward your annual maximum out-of-pocket threshold.

Flexible Payment Methods Accepted

We accept all major payment options via our secure Kareo patient portal:

Health Savings Account (HSA) Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Visa / MasterCard American Express Discover Card Superbills Provided
